My latest course – AWS Developer: Lambda Deep Dive was published today!
I’ve wanted to create a practical course on using FaaS (Functions as a Service) in the AWS cloud and I felt that on top of explaining about Lambda functions I should also cover how to build event driven applications using AWS services and functions. I’ve needed more than a simple demo, because without deployment, management and a good understanding of the serverless mindset, otherwise you’ll end up with maintainability and scalability issues – and no one wants that.
I’ve also managed to cover Step functions and running AWS Lambda on your local machine – and learnt quite a lot in the process of creating this course.
